Echo Reservoir, Utah
Echo Reservoir is your typical green water inland dive. Perfect for those who enjoy underwater rock formations, there are rocks aplenty, and fish if you are lucky.
Location-Echo Reservoir State Park, roughly an hour east of Salt Lake City
Water Conditions- Colder water, with 55-65 F being typical. Visibility varies greatly, but it is possible to get 20+ feet, and common to get 5-10.
Wildlife- Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Channel Catfish, Common Carp
Notes- Echo Reservoir is in a state park, so the government will expect their cut.
Special Considerations- At 5500 feet ASL, elevation should be factored into your dive plan.
