Domestic, but

NOT domesticated.

Domestic Divers is an organization dedicated to enabling divers of all skill levels to further their love for the water by:

  1. Promoting local and affordable diving opportunities that cater to all skill levels.

  2. Promoting family friendly dive outings where non-divers and divers alike may take the fullest advantage of the outings we arrange.

  3. Promoting constant learning and growth. After all, your open water certification is more of a ‘license to learn’ than a ‘license to dive’.

Why dive with us?

  • Community

One of the cardinal rules of SCUBA is to Never Dive Alone, but anyone who has tried to schedule plans with friends knows first hand how difficult it can be to get schedules to line up, much less when you have to travel. As a member of the dive community, the easiest way to get friends on board with a trip, is to have it be scheduled well in advance, with no chance of falling through. We provide you the consistency and security you need to book that vacation, be it for a local trip, or a more lengthy vacation.

  • Safety

Everyone knows that diving can be dangerous, and yet when you hear about dive incidents, it is almost a diver doing something dangerous, or alone, or both. Let us help mitigate your risk, by diving with a large group of competent divers, plus a fully outfitted support trailer that has spare parts, shore and marine safety equipment, trained professionals for both diving and medical emergencies, and so much more.

  • Confidence

It can certainly be intimidating going on your first dive trip alone. It can be even more intimidating doing your first shore dives alone. Build your confidence and competence by participating in our events, where you can participate safely in SCUBA in a variety of environments, fully backed by our professionals.

Sure the diving experience is a little bit different when you dive inland vs the Caribbean, but the surface experience is much the same, and the comfort and skill you develop for buoyancy, air consumption etc. in the inland waters will make your tropical trips that much more relaxing and enjoyable.

  • Education

Adaptive, Altitude, Enhanced Air Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, Navigation, Dry Suit, Science of Diving, Ecology, Side Mount, technical, Cavern and the list just keeps going! The list of specialties you can learn never seems to end, but how do you know which ones are important, and which ones are just cool to have? How do you decide which one to do next? Diving with a trusted professional, and sharing your dreams and ambitions with them during the surface intervals is an excellent way to ensure that all of your needs are met, and you continue to grow into all that you can become.
